Weeks 37 & 38, Heart Hands

Week 37 rather slipped past me, so we’re doubling up this week. It happens!

This week’s full panel is Heart Hands, that little heart shape you make with your hands. A simple gesture that conveys a lot.

I’ve also spent a lot of time working on the actual construction of the Kindness Cardi, sewing together the back using 32 full panels, plus the triangles that shape the outside.

Seeing all those individual pieces finally becoming an actual cardigan is extremely exciting!

There has been one slight revelation though. I think I still have about 23 full panels left to make. TWENTY THREE.

So, if I’m going to finish this thing by the end of the year, I might need to get a wriggle on. Or perhaps I accept that the Kindness Cardi takes as long as it takes. I haven’t decided yet, and actually, I don’t think I need to.

For now, there’s Heart Hands, lots of new triangle designs to share, and a Cardi that is finally starting to look like a Cardi.
