Hello lovely knitters,
Last week I took a small pause from the Kindness Cardi. Sometimes life needs a little breathing space, and slow crafts are very good at reminding us that not everything has to happen at speed.
So this week we’re catching up with two weeks of panels.
Bunny Love
This one is a tribute to my constant studio companion, Marshall the house rabbit. He supervises knitting, inspects yarn balls and generally behaves like he owns the place (which, if we’re honest, he probably does).
So Proud of You
A reminder that progress deserves recognition. Not just the big wins, but the quiet persistence too. The projects you keep returning to. The things you’re learning. The courage to keep trying. Be proud of that.
Rainbow
This panel comes from a slightly heavier place this week. After a run-in with some very loud homophobia in my working life, it felt important to stitch something that says clearly: you belong, you are valued, and you are loved.
For the LGBTQIA community this panel is a hug.
For the rest of us, it’s a reminder that allyship isn’t passive. We have to be willing to speak up.
On the making front, the duck army is growing nicely. I’m currently at about 24 out of 30 pocket-hug ducks, which means I’m well on track to get them finished in time for Easter.
And on the crochet hook this week: I’m nearly finished with a birthday surprise for my youngest — a pair of crocheted dragon wings.

I’ll keep you updated on all the projects, and release more cardi panels Sunday next week.
